Keeping a sleek, fresh face all day and night!!!

Hi everyone! It's Monday, meaning a beauty related blog post. You've probably already guessed what this post is about by the title but basically this is just a beauty hack you all should know. The products I use to keep my makeup on work amazingly well and I thought I would let you guys know what it is that does that job. So if you want your makeup to stay looking sleek and fresh all day then carry on reading!!!

So for primer which is the first main product that helps me slay the makeup game all day/night long is my Maxfactor face finity primer. I have been using this primer and getting good results for a couple of years now and I buy its bottle after bottle. It goes on matt and clear and gives a great base for foundation. You will find when applying your foundation with this on underneath it just glides on and gives you amazing complexion with even the lightest coverage foundation. This primer is £10.99 I think (well it was the last time I bought it aha) and you can purchase it at Superdrug and boots as far as I know. I really recommend this primer so go try it out.

So it's all well and good using an amazing primer but if you really want that fresh face and for it to look the exact same when you get home from when you left (that is if your going out obviously haha), then you are going to need to set everything in place with a setting spray when you have finished your makeup. The setting spray I use is the Urban Decay all nighter makeup setting spray. This stuff is amazing and really works. This is going to hold your makeup in place for hours and hours and not let it move. I think of it as you put the primer on first then the spray last and the primer and spray come together and hold everything in the middle (your makeup) together. This combination is incredible and I really recommend it!!!

So guys I know that was quite a short post compared to what I usually do but I hope you guys enjoyed it. I will be back Thursday with a lifestyle blog and if there is anything in particular you guys want to see on here then like I always say, don't be afraid to leave a comment below.
Bye!

Casual Lookbook!!!

Hi everyone! It's Sunday which means a new blog!! Today's blog is quite last minute and the sort of thing I haven't done before and its a look book. This is something I want to do often for lots of different looks and this one is going to be for a casual night out for example going for a meal with friends or family or just a casual event. I hope these outfit ideas can help you out someway.
Let's get on with the blog!

So the first outfit idea is...

A plain long sleeve top - This one is from new look, I recommend a grey top as it goes with a lo

Black trousers - These are again from new look, they are high waisted as I prefer that and its what I usually wear with this look but normal black trousers, jeans or leggings.

Then I pair that with a waistcoat (that sounds strange but I promise it's not haha). This one is AGAIN from new look, this isn't the exact one I wear as I couldn't find it on the website but its a similar style and gives you the idea

And then a pair all this with some black heeled boots, these are the exact same ones I wear and they are from select.

And then you are done with that look, I will most probably wear the makeup that I put in my makeup routine below and curl my hair to finish the look off.

The second look is...

This top is from quiz and its not the one that I have but its the same style. The one I have is navy blue and the bow is white.

Then I again pair that with some black high waisted trousers from new look.

Then for a jacket a stay with the peplum style because I like the way it likes my shape look but I couldn't find a picture of one anywhere but its just a plain white peplum jacket.

And for shoes I again go with the black boots because they work well as they aren't too casual or dressy, they are really comfortable and easy to walk in.

They are my main two looks that I wear for any casual event really, I hope these helped you in someway and inspired you to maybe try a new look.
Let me know you favourite look in the comments below!.
Bye!

My Everyday Makeup Routine!!!

Hi everyone! It's Monday which means a new post! I'm super exited about todays post because I am sharing with you guys my everyday makeup routine. I have been living by this same routine for about a month now and I thought why not share it with you all so lets get straight on to it!

Step 1 - I use about a pea sized amount of my benefit porefessional and dot that around my T-zone to cover up any pores and create a nice base for my primer and foundation.

Step 2 - I prime my skin with my Max Factor face finity all day primer and put two pumps of that all over my face and a little down my neck to make sure my face stays on all day!

Step 3 - Next I put on my foundation and I use the Laura Mercier silk crème foundation in Rose Ivory and mix it with my Revlon Colourstay foundation in Ivory combination/oily skin to get a colour nearer to my skin tone and for flawless skin. I spread that across my face with my Clinique foundation brush and blend it with my Real Techniques multi-task brush because I prefer to blend my foundation with a fluffy brush because it gives more of a airbrush and flawless finish and really good coverage.

Step 4 - Then I apply my concealer and I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair 1
and put it underneath my eye in a triangle shape to brighten up my eyes and cover any dark circles and put it in the inercorners of my eyes and on my eyelids to cancel out any discolouration around that area and but it on any blemishes I have and it has amazing coverage. I blend that out with my Real Techniques contour brush.

Step 5 - Then I put on powder to set my base into place and give a more matte look which I'm loving at the moment and I use my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and apply that with my Real Techniques powder brush.

Step 6 - Then I fill in my eyebrows with my Archery brow pencil from Soap & Glory and then I go over them with my Benefit Gimme Brow and set them with my Rimmel Brow this way brow gel.

Step 7 - I bronze my face with the Soap & Glory solar powder bronzer and the Hoola by Benefit bronzer and I apply that with my Real Techniques blush brush.

Step 8 - Then I contour with my smashbox contour kit and I just carve out my cheek bones, jawline, nose and temples and I apply it with my Real Techniques blush brush.

Step 9 - I then tidy up my contour to give it a sharp edge and a bake using my Soap & Glory One heck of a blot powder. I apply the powder to my face using a real techniques complexion sponge and sweep it away after leaving it there for 30 seconds - 1 minute with my real techniques cheek brush.

Step 10 - I then sometimes put on some blusher but I don't all the time but if I do I use the Soap & Glory Peach Party blush which is my favourite at the moment and I apply that with my Real Techniques blush brush (a different one to the one I use for my contour) and I then highlight using MAC Soft & Gentle mineralize skin finish and I use a Real Techniques Fan Brush to do so.

Step 11 - I then go onto my eyes and I prime my eyelids with Urban Decay eye priming potion. I then use my MAC eyeshadow in Soba as a transition colour in my crease to guide me where to apply my crease colour and lid colour. I then put MAC Charcoal Brown in the crease to give it even more depth. I apply the eyeshadows with MAC 217 brushes and blend them with a clean MAC 217 brush. Then I apply a eyeshadow to my lid to brighten up my eyes more and I use Half Baked from my Naked 2 pallet and apply that with a damp MAC 239 and then blend out any harsh lines with my 217.
I then use my MAC pigment in Vanilla to highlight my brow bone and inner corners to open up my eyes and give the effect of a deeper crease. I apply that with my Real Techniques domed shadow brush. I then sometimes take MAC soba underneath my eye on my bottom lash line to smoke out the look a bit more and I use a real techniques Smudge brush.

Step 12 - Then I go onto eyeliner and I use my Soap and Glory Supercat liquid eyeliner to do a small flick across my top lash line and then I take Chanel eyeliner in 10 black and put it on my waterline.

Step 13 - Then I go onto lashes which I wear in my everyday look and I use Eyelure lashes in petite 107 and I apply them with my tweezerman tweezers. For mascara I use Rimmel Wonderful mascara on my top lashes to blend my lashes in with my natural lashes and then on my bottom lashes I use Benefit Roller lash.

Step 14 - Then I go onto lips. I use my Dior lip liner in 169 Grege all over my lips and then I put MAC stylish on the outside of my lips  and blend it in with my Real Techniques lip brush. Then i put my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick over the top in the shade 45.

Step 15 - I then set all my makeup with my Urban Decay All night setting spray to keep it on all day and night.
